Abdo Al Rayyis

Hannah and I met several times this week. This week's work consisted of reviewing our lines and starting to discuss how our scene going to look like in terms of clothing and structure. For instance, Doug has an eye injury in the scene and we had to decide what to use to cover my head. So far we have practiced without blocking but we know that the next step is to practice with cohesion in order to add more cohesion into our scene and our lines. We also worked on putting beats on our actions and the backgrounds of our characters. However, we will spend more time discussing beats and actions once we have mastered our lines. We have also spent a quite bit of time discussing the given circumstances, such as Hannah's character car crash and the death of her father and how she should act when she has just learned that her father has died. Similarly, Doug was simply playing with fireworks and has a boyish charm which I aim to show in my acting. We're still in the early phases of learning about our characters in terms of the beats and actions.
