This Social Change class will be focused on social inequalities of various kinds, and activist strategies that are being used to confront these inequalities. Movements examined include Black Lives Matter, #MeToo, Antifa, and various kinds of student activism. Examples from Portland as well as other parts of the United States and the world are investigated.
