Acting "style" explored through the study, of a period's theatrical conventions and cultural, preferences (in physical movement, bodily display,, vocal technique, fashion). Emphasis on premodern, styles, including Shakespeare and commedia, dell'arte. Some modern and contemporary, nonrealistic styles.
