Design is “a permeable boarder between maker and watcher,” translating the unspeakable; uniquely made in response to text, music, movement or ideas of the creator-devisors: incomplete without performers engaging with it and the audience bearing witness or participating.

Design for Performance will explore the visual space/time of various types of performance through project work in multiple design disciplines.  The material arts of scenic, costume and properties design meet temporal arts of light, sound and media to enrich the conceptualization and practice of Production.
