Form and space will be explored through a variety of media and techniques including wood, plaster, found object, paper mâché, and assemblage. Short exercises to explore materials and techniques open up a broader discussion about the possibilities and complexities of the three-dimensional form. Readings, critiques, and more involved assignments leading to in-depth discussions and expanded approaches to understanding and exploring sculpture.
