Develops the basic concepts, that economists use to explore these topics, such, as scarcity, supply and demand, costs and, benefits, trade-offs, and incentives. This course, is a one-semester overview of both microeconomics, (the study of choices individuals and firms make), and macroeconomics (the study of the economy as a, whole).
