This course will extend on prior knowledge to, emphasize how to incorporate both culture and, language within the assessment process to minimize, bias and conduct culturally and linguistically, appropriate assessments with multilingual, learners. Content areas will include knowledge and, skills in using a variety of culturally sensitive, assessment tools, models for conducting non-biased, culturally and linguistically appropriate, assessments, and working through an assessment, case from the referral question through the, results meeting. Note: students must have passed, Assessment III prior to enrolling in this course, or be a practicing school psychologist.
