This course is designed to help family therapists
competently address sexual abuse situations from a
systemic and relational perspective. This
course provides introductory knowledge and skills
for the assessment and intervention of sexual
abuse. This course will also address ethical and
legal issues in working with sexual abuse issues
in marriage, couple, and family therapy. The
curriculum is informed primarily by
feminist and critical multicultural theories and
practices.
